David Fischer Despite being a fan ov categorising stuff, I wildly refuse to do so here. Katharos XIII defies all attempts anyway, instead focusing on creating one of the most interesting and sexy records I have heard in like... ever. Chthonian Transmissions is long, yes. But does that matter when every song is filled to the brim with beauty? Being kind of sceptical at the start of Neurastenia, the band already had me completely hooked towards the end of said track. And it only gets better. To the AOTY-list! Favorite track: Chthonian Transmissions.

mourner Oh yes, they did it again and delivered an album so dense with atmosphere and emotion that you really have to sit down to try and take it all in. And it really is a lot to take in 🖤 The bass and Manuela's vocals alone would be enough for sure. But there also is the best sax in the world on this album, believe me. This is pure dark art.

I first heard "Love Exchange Failure" and was floored by its range of sound and ability to make an eleven minute song flow and make me want more. Lo and behold, the whole album keeps up this theme. I am blown away with how incredible this album is and I would recommend it to fans of prog, black metal, or looking for an album that may scratch an itch they didn't even know they had. tukknutt13
